Creation of job opportunities for people with disabilities in the Republic of Kosovo

The project goal was improving job opportunities for the physically, and physically disabled, in the Republic of Kosovo through self-empowerment training and placement support. As a result, in an official ceremony, all participants of the program received their certificates, which reflected their achievements in their individual courses. Most of the graduates are now in unsubsidised employment.

Design for Excellence

The project goal was to design and develop an integrated self-test learning solution that SMEs can use and deploy to prepare for EFQM certification. The result was a completed training software that is now on the market.

Modular tourism training for Kosovo regions

Jobseeking Kosovars, from different regions of the Republic of Kosovo, are being tapped into by regional development agencies in tourism. A tailor-made modular training program, that offers a range of courses for example “retail and service orientation” and also including region-specific content, such as viticulture and art, ran for over 2 years. As a result, the program not only helped many participants achieve a sustainable job, but also contributed significantly to the economic development of the regions concerned.

IDA – Integration durch Austausch

Adult mobility in the Erzgebirge – integration through exchange

Project goal was to offer unemployed young adults from Saxony the possibility to undertake an internship in Austria to increase their employment opportunities. The focus is also on the exchange of know-how, experience and solutions, with experts and actors in regional labour market policy, who are part of the transnational partner network. The result was the high employability rate of the participants within a few months following the project’s completion. The partnership also o rganized internships for the participants in their home countries and gave the trainees the necessary support with regards to the local authorities, accommodation, etc.
